Founded by Stephen Milner, AukCliff® draws from a Northern upbringing and years spent exploring New Zealand’s wild landscapes. Guided by the belief that resilience is built through challenge, perspective, and time outdoors.
In 2013, Stephen moved to New Zealand, drawn by its vast landscapes and the freedom to explore. Over time, his passion for creativity and the outdoors evolved into a career as an award-winning landscape photographer. Spending countless hours on trails, in changing weather, waiting for light, and learning what truly lasts outdoors.
After personal setbacks, time outdoors became a way to reset and refocus, a belief that now defines AukCliff®. We create apparel for explorers, photographers, and creators who feel most alive in wild places. Our puffin crest reflects that mindset: shaped by demanding environments, built to endure, adapt, and return stronger.
AukCliff® is built with longevity in mind by designing products meant to be worn, repaired, and relied on over time. Where possible, we prioritise responsible materials and considered production choices, while continually working to improve how our products are made.
For every order, we also support verified reforestation initiatives, helping restore ecosystems beyond the trails we explore.
