Memento vivere is Latin for remember to live, a modern companion to memento mori, remember you must die. It is grammatically correct but has no record as a historical saying: a modern phrase, not an old one. The tee prints the words over a seed head going over, its seed leaving, with the line remember to live beneath it.

What does memento vivere mean?
Memento vivere means remember to live. Memento is the Latin for remember, and vivere is to live, so the phrase is an instruction to keep living fully, in the way memento mori, remember you must die, is an instruction to remember mortality.
Is memento vivere a real word?
Memento vivere is correct Latin, but it is not an old or historically recorded saying. It reads as a modern, invented counterpart to memento mori, built the same way on purpose, and is not found attested in classical or medieval Latin texts.
What is printed on the memento vivere T-shirt?
