What does haar mean?
Haar means a cold, wet sea fog, used especially along the east coast of Scotland and northeast England, where it rolls in off the North Sea. The Dictionary of the Scots Language also records an older, related sense of haar as a cold easterly wind.
Where does the word haar come from?
Dictionary.com dates haar to the 1660s, with the earliest Scots dictionary citation from 1777. Its root is disputed: some sources call it a northern form of hoar, others trace it to a Low German or Middle Dutch word for a cold, biting wind.
What is printed on the haar T-shirt?
The word haar over fog arriving across a headland and curling at its edge, with the line the cold fog that comes in off the sea set beneath. It is printed on the front of a lightweight 4.5 oz cotton tee with a regular unisex fit and a printed neck label.
What size should I order?

No, not if you look after it. It is printed into the fabric rather than pressed on top as a layer, so it moves with the shirt instead of sitting on it and lifting. Wash it cold and inside out, dry it low, and it stays as it arrived.
